To Seal Rocks (June 19, 2009)

The next day, we didn't know exactly where we wanted to stay other than about half
way between Cannon Beach and Bandon. We ended up at the Seal Rocks State Park area and
it was one of the better spots on the coast. One of our main points of interest
this day was the Tillamook Cheese Factory. They had an interesting self guided tour
and you could watch the factory in action through windows from above. It rained the
night before and all this morning, so being inside wasn't too bad of timing for us.
After the cheesy tour, we went around the Three Capes Scenic Loop stopping in a few
places along the way.

A view south along the coast.

The Tillamook Cheese Factory in motion. Lots of big cheeses
flying around the place. :)

The lighthouse at Cape Meares.

The glass lenses in the lighthouse.

Bearings that turn the lens.

The Octupus Tree.

A misty trailhead at Cape Lookout State Park.

Rocky Creek Bridge.

A house with a view of the bridge.

Seal Rocks.

This is a barrier along a parking area, I think it's a little close to washing away!

Chris and the seagulls.

We got some color at sunset.

Say 'Tillamook.' :)
