I've been to a few lighthouses in the past, but this is the first one with shoe requirements and age
limits, so none of us got to go up in the tower. Apparently flip flops make ladder climbing difficult.
I wish I'd known that before I ran around on the jagged rocks outside. (I'm just a little bitter.)
