With a forecast for clear skies over the weekend, it seemed like a good time to go on a hike, and look for some fall colors. So Kelly, Alan, Brooke, and I decided to do a dayhike over Ingalls Pass to Lake Ingalls. We found conflicting mileages on several different descriptions of the trail, so we weren't sure exactly how far it was, but figured we'd see if we made it to the lake or not.
We didn't see a whole lot of color, but there was some red in the undergrowth on the lower part of the trail, and once we got over Ingalls Pass, there were a lot of Larch with golden needles. Either way, it was a great hike, and a great day to be out enjoying it.
