Brooke and I had been planning on driving up to the Skagit Valley to see the Tulips this spring. After checking the "bloom map" online, the weather conditions, and realizing that the last of the blooming tulips would be cut in a few days, I decided to make a trip up there. Unfortunately, Brooke couldn't make it. I drove up on a Thursday evening, and got some pictures before dark. Then I headed over to Bay View State Park a few miles away and camped. I got up early and over to the tulip fields before sunrise on Friday morning. The day turned out to be a nice spring day with clear skies.
