With warm sunny weather, it seemed like the perfect day to rent some kayaks and head out on the water. So Brooke, Kelly, and I headed to Agua Verde Paddle Club on Lake Union and rented a couple kayaks. Once we got on the water, we headed East through the Montlake Cut into Lake Washington, and under the 520 bridge into the calm channels around the arboretum. It was nice and peacful paddling through there, and felt a lot like the jungle cruise at Disneyland. After that, we headed farther out into Lake Washington till we got a view of Mount Rainier to the South. From there we turned around and headed back.
