Brooke and I decided to go on a snowshoeing day hike, and Steve recommended a hike up to Talapus Lake. There was plenty of fresh snow on the ground, but there had also been plenty of people skiing and snowshoeing up the trail, so it was well packed down. Turns out we didn't need the snowshoes, and ended up just carrying them on our packs the whole way. We got a bit of a late start, so we didn't make it all the way to the lake, but we still had a good time and enjoyed the scenery. As usual, Charlie enjoyed running around in the snow and chasing snow balls.
