Skyline ridgE

Kirsten, Steve, Brooke, and I headed up to Steven's Pass to do some snowshoeing/skiing. We planned to head South out of the ski area parking lot, but found out we couldn't take a dog on the trail we were looking for. So we headed across the highway instead and made our way up to Skyline Ridge. We started out on a well packed trail, but soon turned off and were on our own away from the other skiers and snowshoers. We ate lunch up on the ridge then headed down to Skyline Lake, and back down to the car. It turned out to be a great day to get out and enjoy the sun, blue sky, and fresh snow.
