Skiing/boarding at yodeliN

Steve and I wanted to get out for some skiing on Saturday. Brooke decided to bring her snowboard and snowshoes. Since we didn't have a full day, we decided to go ski Yodelin which has a pretty short climb up to the top of a ridge at what used to be a ski area in the early 70's. The two lifts were sold and removed long ago, but there are still some good ski runs. They're fairly short, so we ended up doing 4 laps up and down one of the old runs. The snow was nice and soft, though a little heavy, and it snowed lightly part of the day. We had a great time, and were back down to the parking area by 2:00.
